What does Ekawa mean
?
Ekawa (pronounced ee-kaa-waa) is
simply "Awake" spelled
backwards. When coming up with a name, I wanted something unique and
simple.
Graphic Arts are a great way of expressing ideas and concepts
through many different forms. I usually get asked, “What
is it that you do?” Since there is no one-simple answer to
that question, I have a list of things that I do as a Graphic Designer/Production
Artist:
Another question I get asked is, “When and how did you get
into this?” As far back as I can remember , I have always
felt the need to create and be creative with what I do. I have
studied in the fields of print production, photography, ceramics,
drawing, painting, music, recording arts, and most recently computer
graphics. Establishing techniques in these many areas has helped
me understand the creative process: starting with an idea and moving
toward a finished product.
My highest priorities are quality, attention to detail, and professionalism.
